PROFHILO - The summer romance everyone is talking about.
With summer around the corner and everyone looking for that sunny glow, there is one treatment on everyones mind, Profhilo!
This new craze is worth the attention, Profhilo is a great treatment that helps rejuvenate and lift tired, dull skin and help smooth out fine lines. It is especially favoured for its versatile uses. Profhilo can be injected into the skin around the face, the neck, the chest and even the backs of your hands. This is great if you have ‘acing’ skin, sun damage, or feel that areas of your skin has become ‘crepey’.
So what is it?
Essentially, Profhilo is an injectable moisturiser made up of pure hyaluronic acid. The Profhilo treatment, is injected into the skin in small bolus in 10 points over the skin, in a similar way to dermal fillers.
Dermal filler are great for giving you a lift, volume and structure in your face, however, due to the consistency of the HA in Profhilo being a lot less viscous the injection points quickly dissipate beneath the skin and leave you with an even, rejuvenated glow without changing the structure, contour or integrity of your face.
What does this all mean for your skin?
After a Profhilo treatment, skin quality is improved, making it look brighter and more hydrated. And you should see a difference even after just one treatment, although I would always advise 2 treatments 4-6 weeks apart for best results.
