Bags be gone…

How we can use dermal fillers to help rectify that tired under eye hollow and banish dark circles for good…

Did you know that by 30 50% of women alone are concerned by the appearance of their under eye circles?  This may not come as a surprise to you, as around the eye is usually the first area we notice when we look in the mirror and feel our faces appear ‘tired’. What would you say if we said we have found a winning solution for many, and it doesn’t involve coffee or concealer…

Who Needs coffee with this revelation?

Here at Update Aesthetic we can help to rectify this with the use of dermal fillers, we use the recommend product Redensity 2 by Teoxane which is specially designed to tackle under eye circles and dark hollows.

It is a very thin filler and so is perfect for treating such a delicate area as it requires very little manipulation once injected, leading to a more comfortable experience with desirable results.

It is important to consider that when looking into this treatment, the client must have a noticeable deficit beneath the eye, injection of filler into this area without a deficit can result in ‘puffy’ looking eyes as the filler is made up of Hyaluronic acid which naturally occurs in the body and helps to attract water, keeping the area plumper or more even, depending on which are is treated with which product.

Where can I get this?

We can treat you within the same appointment as your consultation and the training, qualifications and high quality products help to ensure you leave with positive results and feel fresh and rejuvenated.

However its not all lightness…

It is so important more than ever to research your practitioner for this particular treatment, the anatomy around the eyes is very complicated and there are a lot of vessels that run though this particular area of the face.
We have to remember that this can cause issues, as with any where else on the face, that is why we do something called aspirating, this is a technique where the needle is injected into the face and then the syringe is pulled back. If any blood comes back through the needle, the Nurse is in a a blood vessel and will know not to inject the filler into this area to avoid any complications.

A match made in heaven?

Why not marry up the correction of your undereye hollows with added mid face rejuvenation, using a slightly thicker dermal filler this helps to support the tear trough and add structure to the rest of the face, giving you that much desired lift. By having combination treatments and being open to the advice of your practitioner, you can work together to create a bespoke treatment plan and achieve a rejuvenated look.
